Our natural, unspoiled desert setting is the main draw to Desert Trails RV Park in Tucson, Arizona.

We are an adult 40+ RV park and attract an energetic customer base. This is reflected in our hiking, biking, dances, aerobics, and other outdoor activities, mostly organized by our community guests in the winter, creating a campground atmosphere.

We have improved and renovated the building and repainted to give it a more vibrant look.

The Park is under new ownership and is still a work in progress. Every “off-season” we upgrade infrastructure as well as improve existing buildings and create new spaces for expanding activities.

In addition to the amazing artists who perform concerts 2-3 times per month in the winter, our enthusiastic audiences also like the conventional “shows” like Friday jam sessions with guests who love to play music.

All evenings or day events are well attended and generate a welcoming atmosphere that encourages top names to return to perform at Desert Trails.

Tucson AZ RV Park with Pool

On nights without live music, we fill up the rest of the schedule with lectures, bingo, karaoke, poker, and games.

The park offers Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners organized by our park community and it creates an enormous sense of volunteerism.

We are busy and occupied the entire winter and we welcome you all to try our friendly community in the park for your next winter destination.

Enjoy Nature in the Warmth of Tucson

No Trains, Planes, or Freeways … Just Quiet

After noticing the absence of trains and planes, guests love our peaceful campground in sunny Tucson and compliment us on our natural landscape. Sunset views can be experienced from all over the park. Some of this is prominent in the “desert oasis” in the center of the RV Park.

Here the thick fauna and trees attract 50 varieties of birds seen in our Park. Javelina and coyotes also wander through at times but are far outnumbered by the rabbits, roadrunners, and doves.

5 star rating Cozy jewel in the desert Cozy for sure, as the sites are a bit tight in some areas but the folks are all family and the pace is unhurried and peaceful. Miles and miles of good desert bike / hike trails and activities / festivities galore. And the entertainment..... Oh, the entertainment !! As a Canadian snowbird paying in U.S. dollars we look for good value and have not found better anywhere. The office and park staff go well beyond expectations to make sure everyone is happy. No pickleball here but a group that goes into town almost daily. $25 per year buys you as much pickleball as you can wish for. Not one, but two writers' groups for those so interested. We're going back for season 3 this year. - 6/01/2019

5 star rating Great park! We stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed more. It adjoins really easy walking trails into the desert- we spent two of our mornings walking out and enjoying the beautiful cacti, wildlife and birds. Hummingbirds in Jan! Very nice dog parks for small and for large so my small dog was happy to be among small dogs! The park has lots of planned activities- we were in Tucson for the Bead shows so we didn't participate, but for a long term stay- it would have been nice. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Would come back for sure. We had a back in space, there is not a lot of room between spaces so that would be the only downside. - 2/14/2018
